Strength &

Conditioning Program

This program will be offered as an optional training opportunity for athletes who want to improve their strength, mobility, power, injury prevention, and overall athletic performance during both the in-season and off-season periods. The goal of this program is to help our athletes build strong foundations that translate directly to volleyball performance, including vertical jump, speed, agility, stability, and resilience. Proper strength training also plays a critical role in injury prevention, recovery, and long-term athletic development.

Pamela Cartagena

Coach Cartagena is a former professional volleyball athlete, an NCAA Hall of Fame honoree, and a former member of the Puerto Rico National Volleyball Team. With years of experience competing at the highest levels of the sport, she brings a deep understanding of what athletes need to perform and stay healthy throughout demanding seasons. In addition to her volleyball career, Coach Cartagena has spent many years coaching and working in the fitness and performance field. She has trained athletes both individually and in group environments, focusing on strength development, movement mechanics, mobility, and performance optimization.

PROGRAM FOCUS

• Injury prevention and joint stability

 

• Core strength and spinal stability

• Lower-body power and vertical jump development

• Speed, agility, and reaction training • Mobility and flexibility

• Proper movement mechanics and body awareness

• Overall athletic strength development

 

Training will always be age-appropriate, progressive, and designed specifically for volleyball athletes.

Program  for athletes 14 & Under:

 

Program Dates: August 10, 2026 – September 27, 2026

Sessions: Twice a week 

Program Price: $480

Session Length: Approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour

Wednesday: 5:30 PM – 6:15 PM

Sunday: 12:15 PM – 1:00 PM

 

Program for athletes 15 and Older: 

Program Details:
Program Dates: September 10 – November 2, 2026
Sessions: Twice a week

Program Price: $480
Session Length: Approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour
Schedule: Mondays and Thursdays, 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: To be determined
