Built by Champions, Designed for Excellence
Savannah Volleyball Elite was not just founded by two professional volleyball players, it’s a family legacy.
Yamileska Yantin and Marco Macias (married couple), former pros who competed for NATIONAL TEAMS and ELITE CLUBS WORLDWIDE, were joined by Yamileska Yantin brother (Jordan Yantin) and sister (Daranjelyss Yantin), both former professional volleyball players and seasoned college coaches, from Junior College to NCAA Division 1. Together, they bring over 75+ combined years of experience at the highest levels of the sport.
This is not just a club. It is a dream team of coaching.
It was over lunch in Orlando when a fellow coach, deeply familiar with Savannah’s volleyball scene, told us plainly: “This city desperately needs a club like yours, one that can develop players at the highest level.” Soon after, families reached out, echoing the same message: Savannah was ready for a new era of volleyball.
We listened.
As former pros who competed at the highest level, both for our national teams and top-tier clubs worldwide, we understand what it takes to excel. Now, we are channeling that expertise into building a new era of volleyball in Savannah, a city that clearly wanted it.
From a Spark to Rapid Fire Growth
In 2023, after coaching in Jacksonville with Powers Volleyball Club, we took the leap to Savannah as Powers Volleyball Club Savannah. The response was instant:
October 2023: Our first tryouts drew 40 athletes, filling 3 teams. By season’s end, their progress spoke for itself.
2024: The word spread. Over 100 players arrived at tryouts, and we expanded to 6 teams, proof that Savannah had been waiting for this.
Today: We are embracing our next chapter as Savannah Volleyball Elite, a name that reflects our standard of excellence and the city’s pride.
